Just a reminder that we have only 2 more days to get our letters written to Jeremy Patterson objecting to PCC’s proposal to close John Beddoes and make Newtown High School the “receiving school”. If you wrote as part of the consultation process, please print out your letter again and send it to Mr Patterson – the letters sent during the consultation period won’t count as objections unless you re-address them and send them again.

Please send your letter to:

Jeremy Patterson, Chief Executive, Powys County Council,
County Hall, Llandrindod Wells,  LD1 5LG
(by post, not email) your letters need to reach him by 19th July
So while this weather lasts, why not take your pen and paper out into the garden, along with a cool glass of something, and write your letter! Please find a list of relevant points here. You don’t even need a stamp – a group of us are going to hand our letters in at County Hall next week, so if you sign your letter and put it through one of our doors (email friendsjbs@gmail.com to find out who your nearest person is), you’ll have done your bit.

Thank you so much – after 19th July we get the rest of the summer off because Welsh Government are away till the Autumn. So please do this one last thing before then!
